Grade 4 learned all about Africa from the textiles in their traditional Kente Cloth clothing to the infamous African Safari animals.

Students learned what each color represents in the Kente Cloth and selected the colors that best represent them. They learned how to weave and how to use patterns, shapes, and lines to design their Textiles.

Lastly they incorporated yarn into their weavings. We had so much fun learning about this beautiful continent.
