City at Night
1st grade used white paint to make stars and moon on black construction paper. They then cut out shapes and glued them on paper to create houses and buildings resembling their community. I absolutely love how these came out. Read more

Falling For Foreshortening
My 4th graders really enjoyed this lesson. After tracing their hands and feet, they drew and colored themselves as astronauts. Then they painted the background black and used oil and chalk pastels for stars, planets, UFO’s, etc. Read more
